When I was little, my parents were always out working, so I used to stay with my grandparents. Following them and observing their acvitities was part of my daily game as a child. After leaving home for years, I started to feel like a stranger every time when I'm back to visit them. However, the unchanged environment--such as the home
decor, clothes, and old photos-- not only help me to trace back to my childhood memories, but also inspire me of shooting them. I started experimenting with their personal stuff and making images that combine their aesthetics with mine, hoping these photos construct a visual communication between us as two generations with different cultural background.
